SSO and MFA Security

Question

Is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) sufficient for security, or is the implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO) also necessary?

Answer

We advise configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) to enhance security. However, if additional time is required for SSO configuration, we recommend implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) as an immediate security measure. This MFA option should be considered for external or non-SSO users who are not part of the SSO domain. If feasible, we suggest enabling SSO for all users. It is possible to enable both SSO and MFA on a tenant. Once MFA is activated for users, they will be able to access the tenant and operate normally. We strongly recommend the configuration of SSO and the utilization of MFA for external or non-SSO users.
