Why am I getting an "errorCode: 90073, errorMessage: Warehouse '<table>' cannot be resumed because resource monitor '{1}' has exceeded its quota." when I am performing a Snowflake batch job?

Question

I see the following error messages when I am running a Snowflake batch job.

 

JOB : 575bbb17-7d3e-4b16-8aa0-04ee0b8d2ac8 for TENANT : <tenantId> is 
FAILED Task failed due to unexpected snowflake run time error, 
errorCode: 90073, errorMessage: Warehouse '<table>' cannot be resumed because 
resource monitor '{1}' has exceeded its quota., errorDescription: FAILED_WITH_ERROR,

 

Answer

This problem  indicates that there is a data warehouse quota problem. The quota probably needs to be increased.  Please contact your Snowflake administrator or open a Snowflake support ticket.
