If I lower the match confidence score, will I be able to see all of the potential matches in D&B?

Question

This  D&B enrichment process will search for potential matches in D&B against one profile from Reltio. If the match confidence score is between 6 and 7, then it will create those possible profiles in Reltio as potential match candidates for further review by Data Stewards. 

Now, the question is, if we lower this score to 5 or 4, or even less, is it possible to look up all the potentially matched profiles ( based on the confidence score ) somewhere without creating those profiles in Reltio?

Answer

 D&B batch job operation using Direct 2.0 or Direct+ API.

 Lowering the match confidence score allows one to look up all potentially matched profiles in the DNB connector. The default value for the confidence code threshold is 7. If the organization's confidence code is less than 5, the match is ignored. However, if the match confidence score is lowered, all entities with a confidence code less than the minConfidenceCode are marked with an error Low Confidence Score.

The D&B Data Blocks Connector is a prebuilt Reltio Integration Hub (RIH) integration. It allows users to enrich their customer profiles with accurate and current organization data from Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). This integration supports real-time, batch, on-demand, and monitoring modes of operation, enabling users to enhance their data with firmographic information, corporate hierarchies, and contact relationships.

Reducing the match confidence level will not enable you to see all potential matches. The integration saves all potential matches directly into the customer tenant, regardless of the match confidence level setting.
