Connect Customer Lambda with Reltio tenant.

Question :

What is the procedure for integrating a customer Lambda function with the Reltio tenant?

Answer :

To successfully integrate the customer's provisioned Lambda function with the Reltio tenant, please carefully follow the detailed procedure outlined below.

  • First, the customer must provide their AWS account ID to Reltio. This step is essential as it allows Reltio to identify and establish a connection with the customer's AWS environment.

  • After receiving the AWS account ID, Reltio will proceed to create an IAM (Identity and Access Management) ARN (Amazon Resource Name) role specifically for this integration. Once this role is created, Reltio will share the details of this IAM ARN role with the customer.

  • Next, the customer is required to create an IAM ARN role that assumes the IAM ARN role provided by Reltio. This means the customer's IAM role will be configured to trust and use the permissions granted by the Reltio-shared IAM ARN role, enabling secure and authorized interactions between the Lambda function and the Reltio tenant.

  • Once the customer has successfully created this assume-role IAM ARN, they must share three critical pieces of information back with Reltio: the ARN role itself, the awsRoleExternalId, and the awsRegion. These details are vital for Reltio to properly configure and authenticate the integration within their systems.

  • Finally, upon receiving the necessary information from the customer, Reltio will update the IAM ARN roles within the tenant’s physical configuration. This update ensures that the Lambda function integration is fully operational and securely connected to the Reltio tenant environment.
