User access to the API Platform tool in RIH (Reltio Integration Hub)

Problem : 

A user is unable to access the API Platform tool within Reltio Integration Hub (RIH) despite possessing all Integration roles

 

Cause : 

The problem arises due to a conflict between the Integration roles. This conflict occurs when two or more roles assigned within the integration system overlap or interfere with each other, leading to unexpected behavior or errors. Resolving this issue typically involves reviewing the assigned roles, identifying where the conflict exists, and adjusting the permissions or responsibilities to ensure they are compatible and do not clash.

 

Solution : 

If a user is assigned both the ROLE_INTEGRATION_CUSTOMER_ADMIN and ROLE_INTEGRATION_SPECIALIST roles, the user interface may not display the API Platform correctly. This issue arises because having both roles simultaneously can cause conflicts in how the UI renders. To fix this problem, it is important to make sure that the user is assigned only the ROLE_INTEGRATION_CUSTOMER_ADMIN role. By restricting the assignment to just this role, the API Platform will render as intended and provide the expected user experience.
