Can You Make Rule Changes in NPI DT L3?

Question:

We wanted to check that apart from the rules that are configured in NPI DT L3 , can we add or update any of the NPI DT L3 rules which were more relevant for our business?

Answer: 

Due to the architecture of the Data Tenant Subscription Service (DTSS), it is not possible for users or customers to directly update or modify the match rules in the NPI Data Tenant (DT). The NPI Data Tenant is typically a shared resource that multiple customer tenants (CTs) subscribe to for data access.

Since multiple CTs are connected to the same NPI DT through DTSS, Reltio does not allow individual tenants to modify the match rules configured at the NPI Data Tenant level. The match rules are predefined and maintained by Reltio to ensure consistent data processing across all customer tenants.

However, customer tenants can influence how data is matched within their own tenant by configuring specific matching criteria and behavior via the subscription settings in the customer tenant's configuration.
