How to handle requests to enable more crosswalks per entity?

The customer was unable to merge a few entities.  He wants them all mastered into one record but is unable to do so due to too many crosswalks (more than 2000)

Answer

The maxCrosswalks in the physical configuration were already 2000.  So the parameter, maxCrosswalks in the physical configuration of the tenant needs to be changed to an allowed limit as it may cause a negative impact on performance and for which you need to take the approval after a review.

What is the maximum allowed limit?

As per a guideline, it should be 2000 (see Object Limit Sizes)   It is not possible to configure unlimited crosswalks because there needs to be a balance between performance and the number of crosswalks.

If you want to increase the limits set on the tenant, please contact Reltio Customer Success Manager with the business justification. We will review and take the next step.

Please note that this number is the most optimum number and any increase will hit the performance of the underlying database.
